Caregivers are the backbone of a home care company. Without the dedication, compassion, and hard work of a caregiver, our purpose of giving people the help they need to live in the place they love would be impossible to achieve. Through all hardships, Caregivers answer the call to provide care to our loved ones.

We recognize the critical role of our caregivers, and that's why Griswold Home Care transitioned The Jean Griswold Foundation into a public non-profit organization foundation with a focus on caregivers. Our mission is to support caregivers through educational opportunities, scholarships, and hardship grants in times of need.

The Jean Griswold Foundation is proud to launch our new National Caregiver Scholarship Program. We will be awarding five scholarships of up to $2000 to deserving caregivers who wish to further their education in a care-related field. Applicants do not have to be associated with Griswold Home Care, and the funds will be paid directly to the institution where the caregiver will be receiving education.

Thank you to all who have applied for the National Caregiver Scholarship Program. The finalists have been selected and notified to continue the application process. The scholarship winners will be announced on Jean Griswold’s birthday, July 30^th, 2022. Stay tuned for information regarding the 2023 Scholarship Program, which promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Jean Griswold founded Griswold Home Care out of her heartfelt desire to help people. Compassion and care are still the driving forces of our company today, and we are excited to continue our work in not only improving the lives of clients, but the lives of caregivers as well.
