At Griswold Home Care, we want to make sure that those who served others are taken care of when the time comes that they need assistance themselves. We are proud to offer benefits for veterans seeking our home care services. The Veteran Affairs Aid & Attendance Pension program offers qualifying individuals and their families a means of reducing the cost of home care. The A&A Pension offers support per month to veterans and their surviving spouses.

If your family doesn’t qualify for the A&A program, the VA will still allow you to deduct the annual cost of paying for home care when calculating the regular pension benefit. They’ll then use this annual cost to calculate the benefit based on a new “countable income,” which allows families that earn more than the pension benefit to receive a disability income from the VA.
