Since 1982, the team at Griswold Home Care has been assisting the elderly, disabled adults, and others with illnesses in communities throughout the United States. We believe that everyone deserves to age comfortably in their home, when possible, and we provide the compassion, empathy, and services they need to stay safe, happy, and healthy. We are one of the oldest non-medical home care franchise organizations in the country and we operate in a rapidly growing industry that shows signs of strong growth trends into the distant future.

Griswold Home Care was founded by Jean Griswold, a care professional who noticed that the elderly, and more often lower-income seniors, lacked the assistance they needed to remain living independently at home. Some of these things included personal care assistance, meal preparation, light-duty housecleaning, and companion care. She was determined to fill this void, and so in 1982, that’s exactly what she did when she started her business. Her early success led her to franchise the opportunity in 1984.
